Welcome to Thiruvetriyur Nagarathar Sangam
Thiruvottiyur Nagarathar Sangam was inaugurated on 01-01-1983. It was registered on 1984 and since then the registration is renewed continuously till date. This year 2016 is our 33rd year Anniversary function.Our Sangam has 746 life members. The Executive committee members 15 persons are elected once in two years.We have compiled and printed address book of our members issued to members 4 times.In every year at anniversary function, audited balance sheet copy distributed to all members.We conduct cultural programmes during annual day by our children every year by training them.
We have purchased a land at a cost of 22 lacs from the donation of members and others. We have constructed sangam building at the above land at a cost aof 30.6 lacs. @ 700 sq.ft. x 3 floors and total 2100 sqft. area with the help of members and other Nagarathars.
For making one permanent income to Nagarathar Sangam. We have parchased S.S. Dining Tables and PVC Chairs at a cost of Rs. 2,50,000/- and kept at Dhandayuthapani Mahal. We have collected for the usage of about average Rs. 90,000/- income per year. Later all the above items have been donated to Dhandayuthapani Mahal. We have conducted Medical Advice Camp by Heart Specialists & Diabetologists during last year to our sangam Family Members only and tested blood Sugar,Colostral & Thyroid tests by Muthu Hospital @ 50% cost.
